The term "Fire Alarm" used to be an all-encompassing catch phrase used to describe a fire evacuation system with some pull stations, bells, or horns. Today, however, alarms are much more complex, incorporating voice and network capabilities. It is for this reason that we prefer the term "Fire and Life Safety Systems." Below are short descriptions of the different systems represented by Fire Chief Equipment.

RP-1001 & RP-1002
The RP1001 and RP1002 both include 4 initiating zones and 4 notification circuits. The difference between the two models is that the RP1001 is designed for pre-action/ deluge and the RP1002 is designed for agent release.

SFP-1024
The SFP-1024 Fire Alarm Control Panel is a 24-volt, 10-zone fire alarm control panel with a built-in communicator and remote site upload/download capability. The integral communicator transmits event information (alarms, troubles, supervisories, faults, etc.) to a UL listed central station. Selectable transmission formats allow the SFP-1024 to communicate to virtually all central stations.

Onyx™ 640
Expandable, network-able and scalable, the NFS-640 is also designed for backward compatibility. It's easier to program and offers three display options.

Onyx™ 3030
The NFS-3030 is an intelligent Fire Alarm Control Panel designed for medium-
to large-scale facilities. Fire emergency detection and evacuation are extremely
critical to life safety, and the NFS-3030 is ideally suited for these applications.
The NFS-3030 is part of the ONYX Series of products from NOTIFIER.
The NFS-3030 is ideal for virtually any application because it features a
modular design that is configured per project requirements. With one to ten
Signaling Line Circuits (SLCs), the NFS-3030 supports up to 3,180 intelligent addressable
devices.
Information is critical to fire evacuation personnel, and the NFS-3030's large 640-character Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) presents vital information to operators concerning a fire situation, fire progression, and evacuation details.
A host of other options are available, including single- or multi-channel voice; firefighters telephone; LED, LCD, or PC-based graphic annunciators; fire or integration networking; advanced detection products for challenging environments, and many additional options.

NOTI-FIRE-NET™ FIRE SYSTEM NETWORK
NOTI-FIRE-NET allows each fire alarm control panel to maintain its own area of protection, while monitoring and interacting with other nodes. Fire Alarm Control Panel nodes react to network events with coordinated programmed responses. In designated fire command centers, the NCS (Network Control Station) provides operators with text and graphic annunciation of network activity as well as network control and panel programming. The NOTIFIER NCA (Network Control Annunciator) is used to annunciate network events and provide control of network points using an intuitive large screen display and PC style keypad.
UniNet™ 2000
UniNet 2000 network seamlessly integrates diverse fire, security and other building systems into a graphics oriented platform, via a local or wide area network. Many type of systems are supported by the UniNet 2000 network including Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control with Photo Badging, CCTV, Incident Reporting, and Guard Tour. The UniNet workstation offers a graphics interface, creating a unified command center for monitoring and controlling building systems both common and unlike. Among the networks many capabilities, is the ability to activate controls between common or unlike systems.
NFN Web Server
NOTIFIER's NFN Web Server offers a new and easy way to not just remotely monitor a Fire System network but e-mail vital alarm information to people who need it to take action. The NFN Web Server meets UL- and ULC- listed specifications and acts as an HTML server. It connects to any single Onyx™ Fire Alarm Control Panel or the entire NOTI-FIRE-NET network through an Internet, Intranet or dial-up connection. Using Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser, version 5 or higher, users can continuously monitor their entire facility from any PC workstation or laptop, on- or off-site. With NFN Web Servers, users get annunciation and monitoring capability with the added feature of being able to automatically e-mail critical alarm information to up to 50 different designated contacts. This automatic e-mail can be sent not only to their office or home PC but to any web-enabled PDAs, BlackBerry wireless units and/or cell phones. This means they and their staff can always be aware of any Alarm, Pre- Alarm, Trouble, Supervisory, Device Disables and other historical events. Using standard e-mail features, users can even forward this property and life-saving information to anyone else who needs to respond. Whether at the facility, at home, or on the road, The NFN Web Server provides peace of mind that your buildings are safe and secure.

VEC-25/50
The VEC 25/50 is a state-of-the-art, compact, stand-alone or slave Emergency Voice Evacuation Control. The VEC 25/50 is offered in a self-contained, cost-effective design and includes a 25 Watt, 25 VRMS audio amplifier, commercial-grade emergency communications microphone and alert tone generator, standard. Additionally, an integral digital message generator provides a factory prerecorded voice announcement and field record and playback capability. The VEC 25/50 is suitable for use as an adjunct to most UL listed Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) in slave applications or as a stand-alone system utilizing a built-in power supply/battery charger. Options include a 25 Watt, 25 VRMS audio amplifier for system expansion to 50 Watts (providing dual 25 Watt speaker circuits) or as a secondary, backup amplifier in jurisdictions requiring such. A 70.7 VRMS converter is also available for independently converting amplifiers to meet retrofit needs. A host of field-programming options, including dual-message capability (fire, weather, non-fire, multi-language), makes the VEC 25/50 the most versatile voice evacuation system available. Suitable applications include, but are not limited to: schools, auditoriums, dormitories, theaters, restaurants, places of worship, motels/hotels, office buildings, factories, etc.

XPIQ
Quad Intelligent Audio Transponder - The XPIQ for distributed multichannel voice evacuation systems, is capable of playing up to four simultaneous messages. It is an integrated audio amplification and distributed subsystem controlled by an FACP (Fire Alarm Control Panel) via the SLC (Signaling Line Circuit).
